Choice Cabinet

Choice Cabinet makes and markets wood cabinets for home and commercial use. Their philosophy is to supply custom designed cabinets which are high quality, elegant, and yet affordable. Choice Cabinet prides in being local and supports its customers with service that is above par when compared to national chains.

Choice Cabinet needed an online platform where they could showcase their products giving the site visitors a real time experience.We took up the challenge to develop a user friendly website with great content management support and professional graphics. Taking care of all the elements for their online presence, we came up with Drupal as an obvious choice for their CMS.

We used Drupal 6 as our development base and integrated video and image galleries modules. We also developed a custom "Locate Dealers" feature where we integrated Drupal with Google Maps to generate a location based dealer identification. The way this application is developed, it lets the website admin to add new dealers and add them on the map using a Lat/Long finder. The LAt/Long finder takes the address as the input and queires Google Maps using the Google's Geolocator API. The client foudn this dynamic feature useful .

We also developed an image gallery (using CCK and Views modules) and a
Plan Your Space application which lets website users see various cabinet options and design their room/kitchen according to colors, textures and the available designs.

The client was happy with what Ocular Concepts delivered to them and they like using Drupal's administrative interface for managing their website now.
