The intent of neomainstreet is to bring the ideology of the New Urbanism to Cleveland by helping to educate the citizens as to what the New Urbanism movement in planning and architectural design is all about.

This will be accomplished by creating and advertising architectural visions that show these principles in physical form and also by lobbying the civic leadership of this city to learn about, embrace and discuss this ideology in the political arena.
