REO Industry Directory

REO Industry Directory is an online network of Real-Estate-Owned Professionals, which helps the website users to search agents and vendors by city, zip code or street address, across the Unites States. They also provide paid REO listings to the agents and a certification and  training programs to aspiring REO Agents.

REO Industry Directory, started with such a unique concept, yet it wasn’t yielding the expected results. They lacked a great online presence and thus required a website facelift. We did a Critical Analysis of their website and worked on the existing shortcomings and loopholes. We redesigned & developed the website in Drupal CMS and integrated it with custom PHP for developing the site’s search based web applications. Drupal ensured that the website’s texts, images, image & video galleries were completely editable by the admin.

Keeping the user’s ease of use in mind, we developed some out-of-box features for their website using these technologies:
•    Search Locator: To track the user’s position and display the REO Agents within 30 Miles of the user’s zip code; using Google Geolocator API and Google Maps API.

•    Product Purchase and Featutred Membership: We used Ubercart's recurring payments module for Featured Membership payment on the website. The integration was done with PayPal Pro payment gateway. REO agents would be able to purchase bank list and sign up for a certification program too. This created many possible combinations and our Ubercart hook included custom programming.

•    PayPal Pro: Drupal’s Ubercart Module was connected to PayPal Pro to pay for the purchases on the REO website.

•    Custom CRM Features:  An add-on to support the client’s customer engagement model, we developed programmed features like individual and batch emailing, follow ups using Google Calendar, admin notes & checkmarks and communication history management.

The Web 2.0 look of the website made it more appealing to the visitors and in-line with the current market scenario. Landing pages were developed for all the major cities in the nation which listed REO Agents from these cities.
